EXERCISE PROGRAMS
Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program
The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program (AFEP) is offered on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9:00 AM, in-person at the center and on Zoom. This program is an evidence-based exercise program, which means the exercises have been proven to improve arthritis and help other types of pain. The AFEP class has a warm up period, balance exercises, weight training for arms and legs and a cool down relaxation. It also includes low-impact cardio exercises. The exercises help with joint flexibility, muscle strengthening, improving balance and increasing energy. No fee for these classes, but we gladly accept donations to help offset the cost of running the facility.
Bone Builders
Bone Builders exercise programs are offered Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 7:30 AM on Zoom only. These exercises are done with or without weights to maintain muscle mass, bone density, flexibility and balance. No fee for these classes, but we gladly accept donations to help offset the cost of running the facility.

Book Club
Monthly Book Club meets the first Thursday of each month at 3:00 PM with a focus on mystery books. Enjoy reading a new mystery each month and meet with others for a lively discussion of how the mystery evolved and was solved. No charge for class but you may need to purchase a new book each month.
Mah Jong
Want to learn to play Mah Jong? Come to the Twin Valley Senior Center and join the fun! TVSC hosts this fun & challenging game weekly, on Wednesdays, from 10:15 a.m. to noon. Then stay for our delicious lunch (only $6 per person) prepared by our NECI chef, Chef Paul Mertz.
Mah Jong is a fascinating, 4-person rummy-like game played with tiles rather than cards. Some initial time and effort are required to become familiar with the principles of the game, but as you continue to play, your patience in mastering the fine points of the game will be repaid many times.
If you're interested in learning to play, or already know how, then please stop in and join us. While there is no fee to play, TVSC gratefully accepts donations to help offset the cost of running the facility.
Sing-A-Long
The second Friday of every month at 1:00 PM, join Pat Mayhew and others to sing old standards and new tunes. Lots of laughs with lots of songs.
Name That Tune!
Join us on the 4th Wednesday of every month in playing Name That Tune! with Ron Merkin, immediately following lunch. Can you name each tune? Be the first to call out the name and you win!
